I've been having fun re-reading my journals from the past. Hihihi.

I was more regular in updating my journal when I was in college. Whole paragraphs of stories in school -- even dialogue, were written down for posterity. Hihi. It's so funny how I was back then. So... different. Haha.

THEN:

- I was a MAJOR STALKER. Seriously. I had waaaay too much time in my hands. Hihihi.

- I was much more shy back then. I was only comfortable with few people. And I got so stressed over classroom reports, presentations, etc.

- I eventually became more outgoing when I became more active in our film org. I acted in short films, (even playing a kikay, bubbly, flirty, hyper girl in one film - for which I won as BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS )

- My head was really in the clouds then. I was too romantic for words. Life was one big happy rainbow, and I was rarely in touch with reality. Heehee. Ok fine, I'm still that way sometimes, but I temper it with realism, I swear!

- I loved walking then as much as I do now. Since I lived close to the university, I'd have my "alone time" in the afternoon, when most of my classmates have gone home. I'd just walk around campus, breathing in the fresh breeze, and the calming sights. I wish I had a camera back then. I really love my university and its expanse of greens. Sigh. I miss that place.

- Life was so much simpler back then... Sigh. On the other hand, I wouldn't trade what I have now for that.

- I'm more spiritually aware now than before. At least now I have the time to serve in Church, and give back to the Lord a bit. (Not enough though, I need more time for that.)

- I started blogging the summer of 2004. I haven't stopped since.

- Eventually, my journal entries became shorter. When I started working, they became brief and random notes. Big events that I'd like to remember, and rarely with enough details. I rely on my memory for those special moments. Heehee.

It feels good looking back and reminiscing on what I once was. It feels good knowing that I know myself better now than before, that I have firmer convictions, and a better outlook at life. I have to thank the people I love for bringing that out in me.
